Classification of industrial adhesives:

Acrylic adhesive

Acrylic adhesive: A structural adhesive with a broad bonding range, including most types of plastics, slightly treated and untreated metals. It can be divided into two-component catalytic curing, single-component UV curing or thermal curing. The flexibility can be from good to very good, with weather resistance. Fast curing.

Anaerobic adhesive

One-component adhesives/sealants that can only be cured under air-free conditions. Used for thread locking, cylindrical holding, pipe thread sealing, plane sealing, etc.

Instant Adhesive

The single-component adhesive can be cured instantaneously after contact with the metal surface. Most substrates have good adhesion and high strength. There can be different viscosities, curing speeds, the ability to fill voids and surface compatibility.

Epoxy glue

Can be one-component or two-component, heating and curing at room temperature. It has high bonding strength to most substrates, sometimes even exceeding the strength of the substrate itself. Epoxy resins are very hard and have chemical resistance and weather resistance. Can be designed as thermally conductive and conductive epoxy adhesive.

Hot melt adhesive

A thermoplastic material that melts in the sizing equipment and wets the surface of the substrate, solidifies to form a bond after cooling. It cures quickly and is not a true structural adhesive, but the range of bonded substrates is very wide.

Polyurethane adhesive

One-component or two-component, it has good adhesion to thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics with slight surface treatment. Has good flexibility and durability. There are three curing methods: catalytic curing, thermal curing, and evaporation solvent curing. Generally curing is slow.

Silica gel

Single-component silicone adhesive/sealant, which forms a tough solid by moisture curing. Has good weather resistance, wear resistance, moisture resistance and chemical resistance. Operating temperature from -76oF to 600oF (-24oC-315oC)

UV curing adhesive

One-component, solvent-free, UV and visible light curing adhesives can be used for bonding, coating, potting, and sealing. It can be cured within a few seconds when exposed to UV or visible light.
